We didn’t plan to start a concrete product supply business. Like most successful businesses, we noticed a significant gap in the market.
At the time, we were operating a busy plumbing and heating business. We struggled to grow the business because of the challenges of getting concrete and screed to install underfloor heating systems. Between Birmingham and Bristol, getting consistent supplies caused a lot of delays in our work.
In our quest to find a solution, we travelled to Germany to purchase a concrete pump. Somewhat surprisingly, we came home with a mobile screed factory. We started the concrete production business in November 2018 and quickly became swamped with work.
Within a short period, we realised we needed a yard, lorries and a team of people. We had no business plan but a thriving business. Indeed, it’s fair to say the business exploded, and we haven’t stopped since.
