Class 2 Ready-Mix Concrete Driver
£15 – £16 per hour plus overtime | Full-time, permanent | Walsall Plant
About the Role
Flowmix specialises in the production and distribution of ready mixed concrete and liquid screed. We are looking for a full-time Class 2 Driver to drive and operate one of our HGV concrete mixers from our plant in Aldridge, Walsall. It’s a great opportunity to join our friendly, hardworking team.
The successful candidate will be expected to work Monday to Friday, with the possibility of Saturday work as overtime. Hours vary on a day-to-day basis, but it will be a minimum of a 45 hour week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out routine vehicle checks
- Making sure that the load is correctly placed
- Driving and operating one of our concrete mixers
- Maintaining a logbook with details of trips, including rest breaks
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence
- Class 2 licence (CPC and tacho)
- Experience working within the construction sector
- Experience in ready mix concrete desirable, however not essential as full training will be provided
